Salone del Mobile di Milano 2021: collections and exclusive products presented by Calia Italia at the Supersalone
The Salone del Mobile 2021 is about to return with a special event, the Supersalone, in which Calia Italia will also be present among the exhibitors and be presenting some new products destined to become immediate must-haves.
Supersalone 2021 in Milan: dates, companies and all the news of Salone del Mobile
From 5th to 10th September, the Salone del Mobile 2021 is back! After the digital event held in July, finally the best of Italian and international design will be able to meet at Fiera Rho in Milan to present their new collections. This year’s special event, dedicated to quality and high professionalism, bears the name ‘Supersalone’ and is curated by architect Stefano Boeri.
The setting of the ‘Supersalone’ has been designed to highlight the new products created by the participating companies over the last 18 months, and visitors will feel like entering a large library of design and creativity. In addition, there will be themed areas and routes and great attention has been paid to sustainability, with all materials and furniture components being able to be dismantled and reused. One of the companies we will be able to admire at the ‘Supersalone’ is Calia Italia, now in its 34th appearance at the Salone del Mobile and a true representative of the excellence of Made in Italy.

Calia Italia at Supersalone: ‘Madame G’ and ‘TiBacio’ are the stars of the 2021 edition
Calia Italia took part in the digital salon in July promoted by Salone del Mobile 2021 and showed a careful selection of models from our collections as well as iconic pieces of our brand. Now the time has come to return to enjoy the live show and Calia Italia will be present at the ‘Supersalone’ with a physical stand where you will be able to admire new products.
One of these is ‘Madame G, our new armchair and the evolution of the iconic ‘Giuggiola’ model. It will be presented in a very elegant blue velvet version to celebrate Calia Italia’s partnership with Casa Azzurri and the national team’s victory at the European Championships.
The other big news from Calia Italia will be the presentation of the ‘Tibacio’ stool, created in collaboration with the designers of OBLIQUA STUDIO. Designed during the lockdown, this new limited edition product is entirely handmade and is a symbol of passion and comfort, as well as rebirth and hope after a dark period like the one we have experienced in the last two years. The ‘Tibacio’ stool will open the doors of the Calia Italia stand where guests will be welcomed with attention, care and the utmost respect for the rules in force. It is right inside the stand though where visitors will be able to admire the real star of this edition – a brand new Calia Italia Collection, still top secret but sure to catch the eye of the design world…
