In recent months Calia Italia has participated in numerous international events and trade fairs, both in main European capitals and outside of Europe. From now until 23 January 2023, the Matera company is among the exhibitors at ‘INDX Furniture’, a trade show organised by AIS (Associated Independent Stores) in Birmingham, England.
Unlike traditional trade fairs, ‘INDX Furniture’ isn’t open to the public but only to AIS members. As the group’s official supplier, Calia Italia has its own exhibition space of 144 square metres in which several models are being displayed including the brand’s sofas, armchairs and footstools. Calia Italia is the only representative of Italy and the event is, in fact, mainly open to British and Irish furniture traders.
At ‘INDX Furniture’, Calia Italia is featuring 8 sofas, 1 ‘sofArt’ model, 6 armchairs and 4 CSR models.
Among the models on the more than 140 square metres of floor are two of Calia Italia’s most innovative and recent sofas: ‘Zip’ and ‘Daisy’.
Zip is a modular sofa characterised by a special quilted finish, which emphasises the soft, rounded look of the side. This contemporary and elegant model is perfect for both younger and more mature homes. Moreover, thanks to its modularity, it can adapt to any environment and it is also available in various versions, including fabric or vintage leather with a retro feel.
Instead ‘Daisy’ is the youngest sofa in the entire Calia Italia collection. This model is designed for young families who like to spend evenings cuddling on the sofa. Versatile, without armrests and inspired by a marshmallow, this sofa makes the environment joyful and comfortable. The choice of upholstery underlines the innovativeness and modernity of this model as among the various coverings in which the model can be made, there is also 3D fabric. What’s more, ‘Daisy’ can be combined with accessories that recall the shape of a daisy.
In addition to these models, Calia Italia is also exhibiting the ‘Fly’, ‘Dragées’ and ‘Quadra sofas’, as well as the ‘Jacob’, ‘Madame G’, ‘Silla’, ‘Pirouette’, ‘Sandy’ and ‘Hotel’ armchairs.
