Casa Idea from 18 to 26 March 2023
From 18 to 26 March, ‘Casa Idea’ returns to the ‘Nuova Fiera di Roma’. This event isn’t just about showcasing the latest in interior design but is also a true laboratory for fusion and experimentation in a space that inspires reflection on the new trends in the world of design and furnishing. An exhibition space of 30,000 square metres is ready to welcome visitors in search of ideas and opportunities to experience their homes in a new way that is closer to their desires. It’s a chance to see how different research perspectives intertwine whilst combining both craftsmanship and contemporary design.
What's new in Casa Idea 2023
What does Casa Idea 2023 offer? For nine days, the fair will host the best national companies in the sector, from all the main Italian regions, as they illustrate their living solutions in a perfect mix of tradition and innovation.
The Casa Idea trade fair, organised by ‘MOA Società Cooperativa’, has set up two pavilions for this edition in order to better orientate its visitors. The first is dedicated to living, sleeping and kitchen areas, whilst the second focuses on renovation, outdoor, crafts and accessories.
There will be 250 companies present with proposals of all kinds involving living and sleeping areas, kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor furniture, with the aim of providing solutions in the name of style and high quality. Calia Italia will be at the fair together with its partner Divani Divinity to present the top products in our catalogue.
The ‘Jacob’ armchair (an icon of our brand that stands out for its unparalleled comfort and for its inspiration from bergère reading chairs) will be on display together with the models of the ‘Gourmandise Collection’, which are inspired by the world of chocolate – considered not only as a perfect and rich food but also as an icon of taste and style. For example, The ‘Cremino’ sofa pays homage to the famous Piedmontese chocolate and is a modular, deconstructed sofa offering total freedom of composition.
‘Dragées’, on the other hand, is an elegant and structured model offering composed and sustained comfort.
Last but not least, the ‘Pralin’ sofa will also feature. This highly versatile model with a structure featuring a slender base on which removable elements rest, can be used to create multiple compositions.
Also from the ‘Gourmadise Collection’, our elegant conversation armchairs with an unmistakable 1970s style, ‘Milla’ and ‘Drusilla’, will be on display too.
Other models presented by Calia Italia at Casa Idea 2023 are ‘Fly’ and ‘Toby Wing’ from our Premium Collection, which feature adjustable backrests and armrests that can turn them into actual day beds.
Among the small armchairs featuring at the event is the ‘Giuggiola’, which is inspired by the beauty and strength of women and characterised by a backrest in which the weaving of 12 garments is handmade. Also standing out from the crowd is its English version, Lady G, as well as a French version, Madame G. Finally, representing our sofa bed collection, visitors to the fair will be able to admire ‘Eclettico’, a modular model capable of creating multiple compositions.
